Youth Pastor Position
Job Description:
SV World Mission Baptist Church is currently seeking a qualified, Full-time youth pastor to join the pastoral staff. The church is a growing, Southern Baptist church in the heart of Silicon Valley. The youth ministry currently has about 80 students that attend weekly worship. We are looking for someone with a heart for youth as a shepherd. We have small groups during the week in homes and we need to deepen our discipleship program to raise disciples of Christ.
Duties include leading Sunday services, preaching on a weekly basis, leading youth volunteer staff and student leadership, coordination of ministry with other ministry departments, coordinating small groups, developing a discipleship program and Bible training courses, pastoral care of students with the help of parents and a strong team of volunteer staff.
